Returns, Refunds & Claims Policy

EventTape.se is operated by StickyTape AB.
This policy applies to all purchases made through EventTape.se and should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.
1. Returns Policy
We offer a 40-day return period, meaning you have 40 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.
1.1 Conditions for Return Approval
To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:

the product must be unused and in original, resalable condition

all labels, tags, accessories, and included materials must be intact

the product must be returned in its original packaging
-
proof of purchase, order confirmation, or receipt must be provided
Products that do not meet these requirements may be refused or may qualify only for a partial refund.
2. How to Request a Return

Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.
3. Return Shipping & Fees
Unless otherwise agreed:

the customer is responsible for return shipping costs
-
return shipping is normally charged at SEK 149
-
a return handling fee may apply (currently SEK 149)
Applicable fees may change over time and will always be confirmed during the return process.
4. Exchanges
We accept exchanges.
For exchanges:
-
the customer is responsible for return shipping of the original item
-
the customer is responsible for shipping costs for the replacement order
-
shipping costs for the replacement shipment depend on destination, shipping method, and order size
The fastest way to exchange an item is to return the original product and place a new order once the return has been approved.
5. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:

custom-made, made-to-order, or specially ordered products
-
sale or clearance items
-
gift cards
If you are unsure whether a product is eligible for return, please contact our customer service team before purchasing.
6. Right of Withdrawal – EU Customers
If you are purchasing as a consumer within the EU/EEA, you may have a legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing a reason, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
To qualify, the product must meet the same condition requirements outlined in section 1.1 above.
Please note that exclusions may apply for custom-made or personalised products where permitted by law.
This statutory right applies in addition to our voluntary 40-day return policy.
7. Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Products (Claims)
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, you may submit a claim in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.
7.1 How to Submit a Claim

Claims must be made within a reasonable time after the issue was discovered or should reasonably have been discovered.
7.2 Approved Claims
If your claim is approved, EventTape will cover necessary costs and may offer one of the following remedies depending on the situation:

replacement product

repair

partial refund / price reduction

full refund
The chosen remedy will be determined in accordance with applicable law and practical circumstances.
8. Refunds
8.1 Refund Processing
Once we have received and inspected your returned item or claim, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.
8.2 Refund Delays
Please note that banks and payment providers may require additional processing time before the refund appears in your account.

9. Responsibility During Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for ensuring that returned products are packaged securely.
Damage occurring during return transit due to insufficient packaging may affect the refund amount or result in the return being declined.
We recommend using tracked shipping whenever possible.
