Orafol 1397 PP

Orafol ORABOND® 1397PP is a transparent double-sided mounting tape with a PET carrier and a high-performance acrylic adhesive, developed for permanent and long-lasting mounting in professional settings. The tape provides high initial adhesion and maintains its strength over time, making it a reliable alternative to screws, rivets, and liquid adhesives.

The strong acrylic adhesive provides excellent adhesion to a range of materials – metal, glass, painted surfaces, and many plastics – while the PET carrier contributes good dimensional stability and form stability. The tape is transparent, which provides a discreet and neat final result without visible fasteners.

Orafol ORABOND® 1397PP has very good resistance to UV radiation, aging, and temperature variations, making it suitable for both indoor environments and more demanding applications. The release liner facilitates handling and allows for precise positioning during application.

The tape is available in widths of 9 mm and 25 mm, with a length of 50 m per roll – choose the width according to the application's requirements for coverage area and holding power.

• Material (carrier) – PET film (transparent)
• Adhesive – Acrylate, permanent
• Thickness – approx. 0.205 mm
• Colour – Transparent
• Temperature resistance – approx. −40 °C to +120 °C (briefly higher)
• Available widths – 9 mm, 25 mm
• Length per roll – 50 m

Orafol ORABOND® 1397PP is designed for professional mounting in industry, signage, display, and production. The tape is ideally used for mounting signs, profiles, displays, and plastic components where a strong and discreet attachment is required without visible fasteners.

The tape adheres to metal, glass, lacquered surfaces, and many plastics. For best results, the substrate should be clean, dry, and grease-free before application. Apply at room temperature and press firmly to fully activate the adhesive.

Choose 9 mm for narrower edge fixings and precision work, and 25 mm for wider surfaces where extra holding power and coverage are needed. Always test on a small area if you are unsure about the material's compatibility with the adhesive.
